I think the worst invention to ever come out of the 90's are sticky labels on fruit. Every morning, I have to peel off one of these ridiculous stickers from an apple or a pear before dicing and subsequent consumption. Later in the evening, I have to scratch more of them off of the tomatos for a salad. I have no idea why it irks so much but it does. Possibly because I can see their corporate desperation in thinking that consumers actually care what brand of Granny Smith apple they have rather than judging the product by, oh say, quality?
Am I the only one? Do people really brand shop for fruit and vegetables? And why can't they use some edible stamp?!
