This past five (four?) days I've spent in South Korea enjoying Mr. Kiser's and Mrs. Julie Kiser-Cho's wedding. Or is that Mr. Cho? What last name did she pick anyway? I had a fantastic time and had the opportunity to carry around the ceremonious wooden duck for almost an hour. Hopefully, I can get some kind person for forward a picture of me to place here. You certainly have Tulay and I's best wishes for a long and loving future!
While I didn't get to have as much Korean food as I would like, I did try a new breakfast dish (thank you, Tommy) with eggs and rice that I would have never found on my own. It's always nice to be taken around by a local. Also high on the list after sampling the cuisine is visiting some of the finer establishments for the local elixir.
And I had a chance to snap a sneaky shot of a couple with the incredibly popular camera phone at the table next to us. This was a constant scene. It's exactly like the commercials want Americans to be rather than using a digital camera with which this picture was taken.
Overall, the trip was quite relaxing and exactly what I needed given the preceding months of stress. You know it's been a tough time recently when a fifteen hour flight in coach is pleasant.
Was damn happy that you could attend. We missed Tulay, but understand the evils of red tape and DHS very well.
Thanks for being here!
Rus
Christina and I both enjoyed seeing you again (especially with the duck and hat). Maybe next time we won't have to travel halfway around the world to see you.
Hey look, there I am. If you want to see some more pictures of Rus's wedding checkout his site and mine too. It was nice to really meet you in Korea, and I'm glad you had a good time.
