Here we go again with the running. I've been good and running ~6 miles every Saturday since the New Year, but yesterday was the first 1/2 marathon of the year. I'm aching all over. I pushed hard to keep the same pace that I've been keeping on the treadmill. I did it, but here I sit the next morning with my eyes glazed and brain refusing to function. My official time was 1:58:12 so I was just under two hours and my goal.
This Saturday, I have another 1/2 marathon. The first in the five borough Grand Prix and I hope to duplicate my feat to prove to myself that it wasn't a fluke and that I'm actually getting faster.
